Local press reports the investment firm and the Brookfield-owned operator held a groundbreaking ceremony this week for the Ansan Sihwa AI data center at the Sihwa National Industrial Complex in Danwon-gu, Ansan-si.
The multi-story facility will total 26,810 sqm (288,580 sq ft) and offer 40MW of capacity.
The two companies first announced plans for the project last year. This will be DCI’s second data center in South Korea, following its 20MW SEL01 facility in Seoul, and will also be Koramco’s second data center investment.
