On the night of June 7, Special Operations Forces struck a junction of two Russian main oil pipelines in the Volgograd region, a radar station in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, and an oil depot in occupied Crimea.

According to Ukrinform, the Special Operations Forces press service reported this on Telegram.

“In a series of drone strikes, the Special Operations Forces struck the junction of two Russian main oil pipelines in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation, a radar station in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, and an oil depot in occupied Crimea on the night of June 8,” the statement reads.

As noted, the drone attack by the SOF’s Deep-strike units caused a fire at the Krasny Yar LPDS in the Volgograd region. The facility, located more than 500 kilometers northeast of the Ukrainian border, is owned by the Russian state-owned company Transneft.

The station is a key hub for oil pipelines in two directions of strategic importance to the enemy: to the Volgograd Oil Refinery and the major Sheskharis export terminal in Novorossiysk on the Black Sea via the Kuibyshev-Tikhoretsk oil pipeline. The pipeline from the Volga region and Western Siberia to southern Russia functions precisely thanks to a network of oil pumping stations and high-pressure pipelines.
