Details: Located almost 1,200 km from Ukraine's border, the Lazarevo oil pipeline control station in Kirov Oblast is a key hub on the Surgut-Polotsk oil pipeline. This route transports oil from Siberia and northern Russia to the Baltic ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga, as well as to Belarus.
The station is also connected to the Druzhba trunk pipeline system, enabling the Russians to rapidly transfer oil between the two largest oil pipeline networks in the European part of Russia.
