LAS VEGAS — LGBTQ+ individuals with inflammatory bowel disease experience multiple gaps and inequities in care when managing their condition, study results showed. Among the most reported were negative clinical encounters, delays in diagnosis, insurance barriers, ineffective initial treatments and discrimination.
