The woman made friends with the man on Facebook because he was involved in the disability sector.

A woman with an intellectual disability was financially exploited by the head of a charity who later threatened her and called her an "evil little witch" when she went public with her concerns.

The woman, in her early 30s, had made friends with the man on Facebook because he was involved in the disability sector and advocated for people with autism and neurodiversity.

After he convinced her to cut ties with an existing support worker she was encouraged to live with him, but was soon "kicked out" after querying invoices she was given for advocacy services.
