Silverline Hospitals, Tiruchi, marked National Cancer Survivors’ Day with a special programme that brought together oncologists, medical experts, and patients with a focus on advanced cancer care and hope, here on Sunday.The programme included an interaction with a cancer survivor who underwent advanced HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) treatment at the hospital for an abdominal tumour arising from the appendix and made a successful recovery.
