Joey Roman
Cape Town’s own beauty queen, Joey Roman, 23, who grew up in Delft, is continuing to make waves after being selected from 400 participants to compete at the Miss African Beauty Supranational at the weekend.
She was selected to be part of the top 20 for the African Beauty Miss Universe South Africa and African Beauty Miss World South Africa next year.
Earlier, Roman made headlines when she took Khoisan attire to the international stage where she represented South Africa at the Miss Teen Supranational 2022 in Ecuador.
She is still on a mission to inspire the youth to do better and be better versions of themselves.
