President Ronald Trump of the United States of America and his cohorts in MAGA [Make America Great Again] have no qualms whatsoever about the proliferation of guns. Their mantra is:
(i)”Guns do not kill; it is people who kill.”
(ii) “The only protection against a bad guy with a gun is a good man with a bigger gun.”
They are adamant that the right to carry a gun is sacrosanct under the law (of the American Constitution), which states as follows:
“The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution explicitly protects the right of individuals to keep and bear arms. It reads, “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
