Nelly Korda, the No. 1 player in the world, has won the U.S. Women’s Open for her fourth major victory. The biggest event in the women’s game and the championship that has historically eluded Korda is hers at last. The 27-year-old shot a final-round 69 at Riviera Country Club to outlast a pack of accomplished chasers climbing up the leaderboard on Sunday afternoon.A surging Charley Hull came in with a 4-under 67 and Gaby Lopez made the Riviera Country Club roar with a closing birdie to tie Hull’s 7-under clubhouse lead. But at the end of the day, no one could match Korda’s 8-under tournament total, capped off by a clutch up-and-down birdie at the par-5 17th and a par at the last.

— U.S. Women's Open (@uswomensopen) June 7, 2026Korda battled wayward tee shots early in the week, posting a 2-over-par 73 to start her 12th U.S. Women’s Open pursuit. But a Thursday afternoon range session, including a tip from her sister, Jessica, helped Korda turn her game around in a significant way come Friday. Korda strengthened her grip, and her ballstriking instantly returned to its usual precision.
