Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have freed the 416 captives abducted from Ngoshe, a community in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

Confirming the development to PUNCH Metro on Sunday, the President of the Borno South Youth Alliance, Samaila Kaigama, said the captives were released on on Saturday.

Previous reports from April 10 indicated that BOSYA had been in communication with the press and served as an intermediary between the terrorist group and the affected victims.

This was when Boko Haram displayed the abducted victims.
