The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has taken a series of internal reform steps aimed at strengthening party discipline, accountability and long-term institutional stability following resolutions reached at its second National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.

In a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Osa Director, the party said the resolutions were part of ongoing efforts to entrench party supremacy and build a structured political institution.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that all programmes, policies and appointments by governments elected on its platform—excluding personal staff—must be made in consultation with party structures.

It stressed that elected officials are expected to align their actions with the party’s collective decisions, describing party supremacy as central to its ideology and operations.
