The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 75-year-old man, Okebe Samuel, in Ebonyi State for alleged possession and retail distribution of illicit drugs.
The suspect was arrested in Okposi by NDLEA operatives, who said he was found with 300 grams of skunk packaged in retail sachets for sale within his community, according to a statement from Femi Babafemi, NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, on Sunday.
The agency said the arrest demonstrates that age is no barrier to enforcement actions against drug-related offences.
