His death is not being treated as suspicious.‌The A27 was closed in both directions for several hours on Saturday, before later re-opening.Sussex Police said in a statement: "Emergency services were called to the A27, near the Dyke Road roundabouts, at around 9.15am.Article continues below"A car was reported to have collided with a pedestrian, who is understood to have fallen from a footbridge passing over the carriageway. On attendance, a 59-year-old local man was sadly declared deceased at the scene.
