Bulgaria's Nikola Tsolov secured his third Formula 2 victory of the season after winning the main race in Monaco, marking another strong performance on the streets of the Principality. The result extends a notable streak for the Bulgarian driver, who has now taken wins in Monaco for three consecutive years, having previously triumphed in Formula 3 sprint and main races in 2024 and 2025.

Starting from second on the grid, Tsolov held position through the opening phase of the race, staying close behind leader Rafael Camara before the pit stop phase became decisive. The Bulgarian driver and his Campos team timed their strategy for lap 32 of 42, switching from soft to super-soft tires.

Camara reacted one lap later by covering Tsolov’s stop, but his pace dropped significantly after rejoining the track. This created an opportunity for Tsolov, who attempted an overtake at the first corner on lap 34. Camara locked his front-right tire and ran straight into the escape area, effectively ending his race. There was no contact between the two, allowing Tsolov to continue and inherit a provisional lead behind competitors yet to complete their stops. He officially moved into first place only after Kush Maini pitted on the final lap phase.
