The New Zealand squad fell 4-0 to Haiti in their first warm-up on Wednesday, with temperatures in Florida approaching 30 degrees Celsius.
"It's really tough on the body," All Whites midfielder Marko Stamenic said of the heat.
"I know a lot of us are playing in cold environments, especially the last month or two, so it's a big change for us, but I think we're doing well."
