Autumn is rapidly becoming winter with beautiful soft light, crisp mornings, cool evenings. … and fallen leaves.
It is a glorious time of year to enjoy the changing colours of nature – a leisurely drive through the Valley of 1000 Hills is perfect to enjoy the post-autumnal hues and magnificent views. It is also ideal weather to keep snug and enjoy the abundance of live theatre and music on offer.
Recharging their creative energy in the hills, are performers Skhulile Gwala, a student of the International School of Performing Arts, actress and singer Kaylee McIlroy, and violinist Nicola Botha.
Gwala will perform in three different productions at the student fest embedded in the 031 Festival now running at the Seabrookes Theatre at DHS until 14 June, while McIlroy is about to perform her one woman show, Britney in the Underworld, directed by Lisa Bobbert at the festival. Tickets from webtickets.
