PALO, Leyte — The Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8) has just inaugurated a 48-kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Camp Ruperto Kangleon.
This marks the first phase of a renewable energy project aimed at promoting energy efficiency and sustainability within the organization.
In a statement, PRO-8 said the P2.4-million solar power installation forms part of the three-phase Solar Power Energization Project being implemented by PRO-8.
The total investment for all three phases is estimated at between P8 million and P9 million.
