The Kremlin has said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin held a one-on-one meeting with former German chancellor Gerhard Schröder.

Details: According to Ushakov, the conversation between Putin and Schröder took place in Moscow, in the Kremlin. He described it as "good".
"The conversation was friendly, it took place in a tête-à-tête format, face to face. To be honest, I do not know the details. It took place in Moscow, in the Kremlin," Putin's adviser said.
