The American, known online as 'YankeeDoodleInUK', regularly shares his experiences of British life on Instagram with his 9,000 followers, and in one of his most recent posts, he turned his attention to the workplace.Chatting to the camera in one of his latest reels on Instagram, he told fans: "I absolutely can not go back to work in America after working in the UK, there's no way."I don't care how much you would pay me, the work culture here is just totally different and I love it."He revealed that the first reason was down to his initial UK boss telling him 'there's always time for a cuppa mate'.He continued: "In America, when we had coffee or something, it was coffee and straight to work - there was no banter... boring, right?"Here in England, it's magnificent. If you were to tell five-year-old me back in America that we would be having adult tea parties when we were older, I'd be like, 'Hell nah', but it's happening."The American revealed that 'there's always time for a cuppa' has become his personal motto, before posing a question to his followers: "Do you guys think there's such thing as too many tea break during the workday? One person commented: "A lot of problems can be fixed with a brew and just 5 mins headspace. It's like your brain's factory reset."Another contributor shared: "I worked for a large US company in the UK. The 'Head Office' was mostly Americans who were always getting wound up by people taking breaks, holidays and not willing to work 60 hours p/w."What wound them up even more was our productivity generally out-stripped the American offices.
