The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Friday announced the results of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their scorecards through the official websites.A total of 3,30,479 candidates had registered for KCET 2026, which was conducted at 745 centres across Karnataka on April 23 and 24.The examination serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate programmes in engineering, agriculture, veterinary sciences, pharmacy, nursing and other professional courses offered by institutions across the state.Read more: KCET Result 2026 out at at kea.kar.nic.in: Direct link, how and where to check Karnataka CET Rank cardKCET 2026 topper: Engineering Stream ToppersTanisha Karthik secured the first rank in the Engineering stream. Srajan B S and Ninaad Vasisht secured the second and third ranks, respectively.The remaining candidates in the Engineering top 10 are Ira Jain, Rishon Fernandes, Advik Ganapathy M B, Chinnmay G K, Abhii Sannayya, Abigail Varghese and Anirudh S.KCET 2026 topper: Ninaad Vasisht Tops Farm SciencesIn the Farm Sciences stream, which includes Agriculture, Forestry, Sericulture and allied disciplines, Ninaad Vasisht secured the top rank.He was followed by Anmol Prabhu and Samay A S. Other candidates in the top 10 include Rishika K S, Ritul S Reddy, Ankit Ashok Dodawad, Arale Virupakshi, Rutika Mallikarjun Patil, Shreya Ballal Nidamboor and Amulya S.KCET 2026 topper: Navana Gopi Emerges as Multi-Stream TopperNavana Gopi emerged as one of the standout performers of KCET 2026, securing the first rank in three different streams — Veterinary Sciences, BSc Nursing, and Yoga & Naturopathy.In Veterinary Sciences, she was followed by Amulya S and Rithvik Kumar. The top 10 list also included Basavaraj Avati, Suchita M, Johan Job, Hrishikesh Kulkarni, Rishab M Shetty, Vaishnavi Das and Anmol Prabhu.The BSc Nursing rankings saw a similar trend, with Navana Gopi leading the list, followed by Amulya S and Rithvik Kumar.In Yoga & Naturopathy, Navana Gopi again secured the top position. Amulya S and Suchita M finished second and third, respectively. Answer Key and Ranking ProcessEarlier, KEA had released the provisional answer key and invited objections from candidates. The objection window remained open until April 30. After reviewing the representations submitted by candidates, the authority released the final answer key on May 10.The authority said Class 12 marks of CBSE and CISCE students who studied in Karnataka were obtained directly from the respective boards and used for ranking purposes. Cases involving discrepancies in marks were verified and updated before rank allocation.Medical Counselling After NEET ResultsKEA has also clarified that counselling for medical courses will be conducted separately after the declaration of NEET results and in accordance with the schedule announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).(with TOI inputs)
