Departing Liberal MP Nate Erskine-Smith is getting a send-off from federal politics as his future remains unclear following a recent loss in the provincial party’s Scarborough Southwest nomination race.

Supporters are hosting a party to celebrate his 11 years of service in the House of Commons — including a brief stint as housing minister — at an East York beer hall June 25.
