Bentley linked to Tembisa Hospital fraud investigation sold by dealership.
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has confirmed that it has not located the luxurious Bentley Continental GT tied to the ongoing investigation in the procurement irregularities at Tembisa Hospital.
The high-end Bentley belongs to alleged tender fraudster Hangwani Maumela, a prominent figure in the SIU's investigations.
Earlier, the SIU raided Omar Motor Den in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga and seized a Bentley which later turned out not be the one they were looking for.
According to SIU spokesperson Selby Makgotho, Omar Motor Den owner, Yusuf Omar, admitted that he sold the Bentley under investigation.
