More than 100 roadside vendors selling vegetables outside the Gandhi Market in Dindigul submitted a petition to the Corporation Commissioner stating that their livelihoods would be affected if they were evicted from the place.Dindigul Corporation authorities have begun evicting the vendors operating on the roadside outside the Gandhi Market. The officials have instructed that the sales should take place only in the specific areas designated by the Corporation.The vendors said the Corporation authorities had previously marked specific lines on the roadside and permitted them to operate within those lines.
