The Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) 2026 results declared on Friday, showed that Computer Science & Information Technology remains the popular choice of candidates, with over 8,300 of the total 21,958 candidates choosing the stream.For pharmacy, there were 7,753 candidates, followed by Electronics & Communication Engineering.The PGECET is for admissions to full time courses including M.E, M.Tech., M.Pharm., M. Arch., and graduate level Pharm courses in various universities in the State and were declared by the Telangana Council of Higher Education on Friday.Courses such as Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Management, Food Technology, Mining Engineering, Nano Technology, and Textile Technology had 100% candidates qualified.Among the candidates, 94.31% women outshone male candidates (91.02%).
