This June, thousands of football fans will travel across North America chasing unforgettable moments. Unfortunately, they'll also be chasing some of the world's most expensive beers.
For many South Africans and Nigerians, the exchange rate can turn a simple round with friends into a painful math exercise. A beer that feels affordable at home suddenly costs double. Sometimes triple.
Following its successful launch earlier this year, Bar de Change returns from 4–8 June, giving travellers departing from OR Tambo International Airport, Cape Town International Airport and Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos the opportunity to pre-purchase Heinekens at local prices before departure and redeem them at participating bars across the United States and Mexico.
