Located in Hai Phong, the school was developed in partnership with Shattuck-St. Mary's School, an independent boarding school in Minnesota with a history dating back more than a century.
The project was founded by a graduate of the U.S. institution's Class of 1995, who said her experience as a student helped shape the vision for bringing the model to Vietnam. The school's Admissions Director is also an alumna of Shattuck St. Mary's School in the United States, from the Class of 1992, further strengthening the connection between the Vietnam campus and the Minnesota institution.

As the only official partner of the Minnesota-based school in Vietnam, the campus follows academic programs and educational practices developed by its U.S. counterpart. A joint board comprising representatives from both institutions oversees operations, while leadership teams from the United States make annual visits to support quality assurance and academic collaboration.
Instruction is delivered entirely in English, with an American curriculum built around critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving, qualities American admissions officers look for in applicants.
