Three schoolchildren and two teachers were injured after a vehicle carrying students overturned in the Kharkiv Region on June 5.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the accident occurred in the morning on the P-58 highway connecting Merefa, Zlatopil, and Lozova, Ukrinform reports.
Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of a Volkswagen LT lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and then overturned into a ditch.
Law enforcement officials said that 14 children, students in the 5th and 9th grades from a regional lyceum, were traveling in the vehicle along with two teachers who were accompanying the group on an excursion.
