Launched in 2022, Hailey Bieber’s Rhode has swiftly risen to become one of the most lauded new make-up brands – and one loved by IndyBest. Where the pocket blush gives dewy fullness to cheeks and the peptide lip shaper adds instant volume, Rhode has, after much anticipation, filled the sun kissed gap in its lineup in the shape of the pocket bronze and highlight milk.Known for its science backed minimal makeup and skincare, Rhode has attracted a cult-following. Rising above them all is the pocket blush, which we love for its natural-looking, hydrating glow. So rest assured, when the brand announced its bronze iteration of the stick, I couldn’t wait to test it out ahead of its launch on 9 June. Available in eight shades, Rhode claims the pocket bronze adds “an effortless wash of warmth” as it smoothes and adds subtle definition to the skin. The summer collection also includes the highlight milk – a multipurpose illuminator designed to give a natural iridescent finish. As well launching the new products, Rhode has added more shades added to the peptide lip tint and peptide lip shape, all in time for summer. But are the products worth it? Read on for my verdict on the Rhode pocket bronze and highlight milk.Read more: Best Merit beauty products, reviewedWe've been treated to two new Rhode product drops (Alice Reynolds/The Independent)Read more: Best blushes, reviewed
