The NBA Finals now go through Madison Square Garden. The New York Knicks won Game 1 of the Finals on the road in San Antonio on Wednesday and now only have to win at home to win the franchise’s first championship since 1973.With the 105-95 win in Game 1, New York is now favored to win the series. The Knicks were +160 before the start of the series and are now currently listed at -140. It’s obviously still early, and the Knicks are only slight favorites with those odds, but it’s still been a very long time since New York has been in this position.

.@nyknicks -140 favorites to win the NBA Championship after beating the Spurs in Game 1.

This is the first time the Knicks have been favored to win the title since 1993-94 season when New York was +120 favorites entering the Conference Finals per @SOHistory 👀
