Police are seeking urgent sightings of Royal Hawea, a 36-year-old man who has a warrant out for his arrest.
Hawea has failed to return to prison after being released on compassionate grounds, police said on Friday.
Police warned no-one should approach Hawea if they see him, and instead should call 111.
Anyone who knew his whereabouts and movements, or had any information that could help, was asked to contact police using reference number 260430/3794.
