Ukraine’s air defense forces neutralized 198 drones launched by Russian forces in an overnight attack that began in the evening of June 4.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Russia launched two Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, along with 216 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type strike drones (some jet-powered), Gerbera and Italmas drones, Banderol loitering munitions, and Parodiya decoy drones.

The drones were launched from Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the Chauda area in occupied Crimea.

The attack was countered by Ukrainian aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare forces, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups.
