Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 82 drones used by Russian troops in an attack on Ukraine beginning the evening of June 28. Hits were recorded at 11 locations.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Since 18:00 on June 28, the enemy launched 108 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drone decoys of the Parodiya type from several directions, including Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region and Chauda and Hvardiiske in Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
