Social media influencers are often associated with younger generations, but an emerging demographic is rising through the ranks. Fashion campaigns and media advertisements still routinely focus on young women to model their wares, despite many older women having the spending power that teenagers largely lack. Here, creators produce inspirational and authentic content that celebrates ageing, diversity and later-life style. While social media may traditionally have been the preserve of the young, there’s change afoot.
