Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras stressed the need to develop a coherent national strategy to help Greece adapt to the new realities created by artificial intelligence, in remarks on Thursday at the 4th Quo Vadis AI Conference, titled “Artificial Intelligence, the Labor Market, and Central Banks.”
Such a plan must include investments in education, research, digital infrastructure, and stronger links between universities and businesses.
It also requires a stable and reliable institutional environment that allows companies to invest with a long-term perspective. Above all, he said, it needs a culture of adaptability and lifelong learning.
