A teenage supercross phenomenon is returning home to lead a major international stadium showcase following a meteoric rise overseas.

The 18-year-old rider Cole Davies will headline the spectacle when the championship returns to New Zealand for the first time since 2019.

The event will transform Auckland's North Harbour Stadium on Saturday, October 31, into a world-class battleground constructed from 600 tonnes of dirt and featuring pyrotechnics, music and high-energy entertainment.

Davies, who was born and raised on Auckland's North Shore just minutes from the venue, recently turned heads globally by claiming the AMA Supercross 250SX East Championship. The upcoming showcase will mark the first time he has raced on home soil on this scale.

Davies said competing in front of a home crowd would be a career highlight.
