Bengaluru is often in the news for allegedly having language problems and heavy traffic. However, one Reddit post have gone viral thanks to its positive vibe. An American pair who enjoyed a five-month trip to India shared their experience in Bengaluru. They shared how they had come across many rumours about Bengaluru such as heavy traffic, accumulation of trash on streets etc. While they acknowledged that the problems exist, they are not as common as believed. They revealed they had an amazing time in Bengaluru and their kids do not want to go back to the US. They came across many people who were friendly and were ever-so-helpful to them. “Everyone here was very kind; every time we went anywhere there were many friendly people who wanted to chat and help us out. (Especially the many times we got lost trying to navigate the buses.)..” they said. They also said they had no hiccups and had no serious issues. They did not come across any scammers and never fell sick. “The only real challenge of the whole trip was getting a visa before we arrived... oof.Overall, thanks for having us, five stars, we'll be back…” they concluded. One Bangalorean wrote that hospitality and food are among the attractions of Bengaluru. “Great to know that you had a wonderful time. The hospitality, food, warmth are the highlights of my city. Another revealed they had shifted to Bengaluru more than a decade back and the Silicon Valley of India have become nothing less than a home for them. “Moved to this city 14 years ago. And no other place feels like being here. I am glad you had good times here. Do visit again!” the comment read.
