With the FIFA World Cup right around the corner, McDonald’s is getting in on the action with limited-time collectibles and cups featuring some of the biggest stars in the game. “As soccer icons take the field to unite fans across continents, McDonald’s will be there from the first whistle to the final minute with limited-time meals and keepsakes so fans of all ages can be part of the excitement all tournament long and beyond,” McDonald’s global chief marketing officer and head of new business ventures Morgan Flatley said in a news release.Here’s what Canadian soccer fans can expect when it releases on June 9.

Legendary soccer players to be featured on collectible cupsA FIFA World Cup 26 Meal, which will include your choice of selected Extra Value or McValue Meals, will include one of seven collectible cups featuring David Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaucho, Thierry Henry, Heung-Min Son, Lamine Yamal, and Team Canada’s captain, Alphonso Davies.
