ABUJA — The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command has debunked reports of an alleged kidnapping incident at Phase 1 Primary School, Gbagalape, Abuja, describing the claim as a false alarm.
The Command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, said the incident, which caused panic among pupils and residents, prompted an immediate police response but investigations revealed that no kidnapping occurred.
According to her, officers attached to the Nyanya Division received a distress call at about 10:30 a.m. on Thursday alleging that kidnappers had invaded the school.
