The remains found has been identified as that of Olebogeng Felicia Tagote.
Police confirmed a North West teenager who went missing last month has been found dead.
Olebogeng Felicia Tagote, 18, was last seen on Sunday, May 24, after leaving school.
At the time, she was wearing green school trousers, a white shirt, and a maroon pullover jersey.
Provincial police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Ofentse Mokgadi, said the remains of the teenager were discovered near a bridge. She was sexually assaulted.
