A 50-year-old man has died after suffering head injuries in an assault outside a pub in south-east London.Stuart Tickner was injured in Station Road, Sidcup, at around 1am on Monday May 25 and taken to hospital, where he died five days later.His daughter Megan Tickner paid tribute to him on Facebook, saying: “It is with a heavy heart and immense sadness that I am having to share that we lost my Dad on Saturday May 30.“A week ago, he was unfortunately a victim of a serious assault which left him with head injuries which were so severe he could not recover from them.“He lit up any room he walked into and was a bubbly, joyful soul. I will cherish the memories of us going to concerts together and singing karaoke.“I’ll love and miss you always Dad.”A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he went to hospital on Tuesday May 26.Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting the reference 434/25MAY, or to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
