Bosses and executives leading New Zealand's multi-billion-dollar food and fibre sectors consider biosecurity and trade agreements their highest priorities, in a new industry survey.

Throughout February and March, 136 industry leaders were surveyed in KPMG New Zealand for its 17th annual Agribusiness Agenda, and featured in roundtable meetings.

They ranked what they considered the most important priorities this year. World-class biosecurity retained the number one position on industry priorities in the survey for the 16th consecutive year.
