A 33-year-old man and his associates are wanted in connection with the kidnapping of a 17-year-old girl.Sources close to the family of the girl said the suspect kidnapped the minor girl, a student from her village near Srivaikundam, even as she was walking along the road in her hamlet on Sunday.Following complaint from the girl’s parents, the Srivaikundam police, who have recovered CCTV footages of the car speeding fast with the girl, are on the lookout for the suspect to rescue the teen from him.However, the family members complained that the police did not take any credible step for three days to rescue the girl from the kidnappers, who are reportedly notorious criminals in Srivaikundam police sub-division.
