Quanta Cloud Technology Inc (雲達), the manufacturing arm of Quanta Computer Inc (廣達), plans to add three new facilities in California by the end of this year to support clients’ expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, company president Mike Yang (楊麒令) said on Tuesday.Yang also serves as executive vice president of Quanta Computer. Capacity utilization at Quanta Cloud is nearly full and the US would remain the company’s primary focus for future capacity expansion, he said on the sidelines of the Computex Taipei trade show.
