Accusing Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar of inducting “corrupt old Ministers” into his Ministry, the Opposition BJP has described the Mr. Shivakumar-led government as the “continuation of the old corrupt and failed regime in the disguise of a new one.”In a social media post, Leader of the Opposition R. Ashok maintained that the people of the State were hoping for not just a change in leadership, but change in administration style. But a look at the new Ministry would indicate the return of those who pushed the State into a pathetic condition by indulging in corruption, he alleged. Published - June 03, 2026 07:53 pm IST
