Just when it seemed like bag charms were becoming a relic of the past, I spotted a new sort popping up on bags around New York and Paris: The glasses-case charm. A natural evolution from the leather AirTag holders of 2025, these charms are far more utilitarian than the flower- and animal-shaped ones of yore. I’ve had one since May, and with it securely attached to my Polène Cyme bag, I don’t have to dig around when trying to switch between my glasses and sunglasses, meaning no more stalling in a crowded subway station.
