Kuwait suspended all commercial flights after Iranian drones struck the passenger terminal at Kuwait International Airport, causing damage and injuries.
Defence Ministry spokesman Brig Gen Saud Al Otaibi reported terminal damage and hospitalisations, with the extent of injuries yet to be disclosed.
The halt follows Iran cutting off mediation on extending a ceasefire with the US, amid a widening regional war involving missiles and drones.
Kuwait Airways paused operations in coordination with aviation authorities, while multiple international carriers halted services due to airspace closure.
