Middle Eastern data center developer Otech (previously Oman Data Park) is to build a data center in Rwanda.

The company and Rwandan ISP Broadband Systems Corporation this week announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to co-invest in a new data center.

Full details haven’t been shared, but the AI-ready facility will be built in Rwanda to Tier III standards.
