Some gunmen on Wednesday morning abducted Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the sister of former Minister of Power and All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, alongside her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul.
According to information obtained and confirmed by SaharaReporters, the incident occurred at about 7:30am on June 3, 2026, while Mrs. John-Paul, aged 43, was on her routine morning movement to drop her children at school when the armed men struck in a coordinated manner.
Witnesses’ accounts and a video obtained by SaharaReporters showed a disturbing aftermath of the incident, including a red Toyota Camry parked on a quiet street with its doors left ajar, suggesting a sudden disruption.
