The family-friendly hill above Vyšný Kubín now offers even better views of surrounding mountain ranges.
One of the most popular viewpoints in the Orava region of northern Slovakia now offers visitors another reason to linger a little longer.
The Tupá Skala hill above the village of Vyšný Kubín is known for its sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Thanks to a new addition, visitors can now enjoy the panorama in greater comfort.
Three observation benches have been installed near the summit, offering views of the Chočské vrchy, Malá Fatra, Oravská Magura, and Roháče mountain ranges.
The project was carried out by local enthusiasts from the Dolný Kubín branch of the Slovak Tourist Club (KST), who placed the benches around the cross that stands at the top of the hill.
