The Hanoi police are testing unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with artificial intelligence to detect traffic violations, sidewalk encroachments, and illegal dumping of waste.

They have started trialing the drones for patrol and surveillance in the downtown Hoan Kiem and Tay Ho wards.Developed by a domestic company, the drones are equipped with high-resolution cameras, optical sensors, navigation systems, and AI technology.
